I tip my hat to ~WatergazerWolf who, due to her commission from me, has me thoroughly hooked on ATC's.
I have been wanting to do a drawing of a Cu Sith ever since *Avyris posted her Cu Sith character over on DeviantArt. Mix that with my newfound love of ATC's, and you get this picture. For those that don't know, a Cu Sith is a Scottish ghost hound. It is a green hound the size of a bull with a braided tail. It steals away women to take to fairy mounds so so the women can provide milk for the fairy children. It is silent until it is on the hunt, when it lets loose three booming barks as a warning for farmers to lock up their wives. So I drew a deerhound Cu Sith in front of its fairy mound, in a classic heraldic pose at dusk. This is for sale for $7 USD; Note me if interested. Image © Hilary Francis |
